Fact Check & Visiting

Contacting Seller or Broker

If you have decided on which boats you are interested in, we will contact the seller or broker of the boat and check if the information on the posting is accurate. We will ask them for detailed specification and condition of the boat and arrange an actual visit to the boat.
Your privacy will be 100% protected when we contact the broker so they don’t give you a call every day and night. You will understand what we mean if you had an experience with a car dealer.

Actual visit to the boat

The Internet shows a lot of information including photos and videos but we recommend arranging an actual visit to the boat to check the condition of the boat in full detail before deciding on anything else. This is not like buying something from E-bay. Internet posting always shows only good things and pretty photos. They don’t show ugly dirty items, defects, or problems. Never fall in love with a boat by the internet posting photos.
In this stage, we will go to the boat and check if all specifications in the posting match with the actual boat. Also, we meet the seller or broker and ask detailed questions.
If possible, we recommend you join the visiting so you completely understand the real condition of the boat by yourself. However, we guarantee that you can trust us if you are not able to join us.
At the end of this process, we will send you a report showing the detailed condition of the boat with our photos and videos.

Never fall in love with a boat by the internet posting photos.

Preliminary Offer

If you are satisfied with the boat so far, based on the fact check, we can ask the seller for a sea trial and technical survey.
Some sellers or brokers require preliminary offer or purchasing agreement. This doesn’t mean you are actually purchasing the boat. The seller wants to know if we are really interested in buying their boat. We normally offer a lower price than original based on the fact check report but there is always the possibility of negotiation after the survey.
